Numbers - Aireamhan

This week we were learning to count to ten in Scottish Gaelic and also to ask how many things are there (cia mheud). Our song this week is Bob a' Bualadh (Bob hammering). You will notice that the word for hammer (òrd) is singular for numbers one and two, but when Bob uses three or more hammers it becomes plural (ùird). You can listen to the song here or a slightly different video version with Padraig instead of Bob at this link.

You can listen to this short video to learn how to pronounce the numbers one to ten.
