Autumn - Foghar

 

This week we learnt words associated with autumn - foghar. We painted around leaves using autumn colours such as dearg (red), orains (orange) and yellow (buidhe). We discovered that this works best with newly gathered leaves as if you keep them for more than a day or two they become brittle. We also had some felt leaf stickers which we put on our pictures and one Mum found that they were good for painting around, too.
