Hot and Cold - Teth 's Fuar
This week we explored the topic of hot and cold (teth 's fuar). The children and their parents really enjoyed playing with fake snow which even felt cold. They drove cars through it and had fun filling and emptying (a' lionadh 's a taomadh) cups and bowls with the snow (sneachd). We got this amazing snow from Baker Ross. It comes in a small tub which expands to 100 times it's original volume.
Our song this week was Obh Obh Tha mi fuar (oh, oh I'm cold) which you can listen to at Storlann's Gaidhlig nan Og site on the weather page under the title, Tha mi fuar agus teth (I am cold and hot).
You can watch a short video here with Anne reading the words associated with hot and cold.
And you can now test yourself on the words at Quizlet!
