Oidhche Mhath Sam - Goodnight Sam

 

This week we listened to a simple Gaelic version of the bedtime story Goodnight Sam (Oidhche Mhath Sam) by Amy Hest. You can listen to the full version of the story here or watch Linda reading it. You can also buy Oidhche Mhath Sam from Acair.

We coloured in a bear which we put on a stick and we decorated a bed for him with stickers and pieces of coloured paper. We stuck a red blanket on the bed and made a slit in the bed. We were then able to put him to bed (leabaidh) and take him out again. There is a template with instructions here.
